Pens Recall Forward MacIntyre

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Steve MacIntyre from his conditioning assignment with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

MacIntyre, 31, played four games with WBS during his conditioning assignment, collecting 14 penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound MacIntyre has appeared in four games this season for Pittsburgh, going scoreless with two penalty minutes.

MacIntyre, who signed with Pittsburgh as a free agent on July 12, 2011, has amassed four points (2G-2A) and 159 penalty minutes in 82 career games with Pittsburgh, Edmonton and Florida.
