Pens Players to Give "Shirts Off Our Backs" On Fan Appreciation Night Tuesday

by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
One of the Penguins’ most popular fan outreach programs will continue Tuesday night when every player takes part in the annual “Shirts Off Our Backs” presentation following the final regular season home game vs. New Jersey at CONSOL Energy Center.

Twenty nine fans in attendance will be chosen at random and invited down to the ice after the game to receive the players’ game-worn jerseys.
Injured players, and those who don’t dress for the game -- including Sidney Crosby -- also will participate.
In addition, five lucky fans will be chosen at random to participate in a drawing for a free car after the game. One fan will win a 3-year lease on a Subaru Outback 2.5i, courtesy of The Power of Bowser.
Fan Appreciation Night is presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The Penguins are holding various “Fan Appreciation Week” activities throughout the week. Check out the Penguins’ website, Facebook and Twitter for daily updates and promotions.
