The Pittsburgh Penguins’ popular ‘Student Rush’ ticket program returns for another season when the Pens host the Toronto Maple Leafs in their home opener on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
The American Eagle Outfitters Student Rush program will offer 200 discounted tickets for each game to local college and high school students.
Tickets are $25 and will be pre-sold online. They may be picked up at the American Eagle Box Office when gates open with a valid student ID. For more information on the American Eagle Outfitters Student Rush program, visit pittsburghpenguins.com/studentrush.
On three special nights – Monday, March 4 vs. Tampa Bay, Tuesday, April 2 vs. Buffalo and Wednesday, April 17 vs. Montreal – the Penguins will expand the Student Rush program and reserve more than 500 tickets for students. That will create the traditional Student Rush line along Fifth Avenue, next to CONSOL Energy Center.
“College and high school students are among our most loyal and passionate fans, and the American Eagle Outfitters Student Rush program enables us to give them a chance to experience Penguins hockey at a discounted price,” said David Peart, the Penguins’ Senior VP of Sales and Service. “Even though we are in a sellout situation – with 254 straight sellouts – it is very important to continue to build this connection with the young people of our region.”
