Northwood Realty, the Official REALTOR® of the Pittsburgh Penguins®, first initiated an award for hockey moms last year. The company's agents wanted to find a way to recognize their friends' and neighbors' dedication and support of youth hockey programs across the region. Northwood's partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins was a natural next step for continuing the award.
"Moms are special to us at Northwood. In fact, many of our most successful agents are moms," said Tom Hosack, president and CEO of Northwood Realty. "Moms involved in youth hockey exemplify the values that are so important to our company: passion, experience and integrity. These awards recognize and honor all that they do. We see it time and time again with our agents, and behind the scenes at the rink: Moms know how to make good things happen."
