The Pittsburgh Penguins close out their four-day trip to the Canadian Maritimes on Wednesday with a contest against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Moncton Coliseum.
The contest will be telecast live on FSN Pittsburgh starting at 6:30 p.m. EST.
Ottawa handed the Penguins a 5-2 loss Tuesday night in Halifax in the preseason opener for Pittsburgh. Despite the loss, the Penguins were happy with their effort.
"I thought we worked hard. We created a lot of chances and we played well in the first half," Penguins star Sidney Crosby said. "When you come out and play well in the first half, especially when your goalie is playing well, it's good. With the amount of power plays, if your special teams aren't clicking, it's hard to get a lot going. I think we are happy with our work ethic; we want to bear down a little more, but it's been a long time since we played a game. I think it was pretty good if you look at that."
Crosby will play again Wednesday night in Moncton. He will be joined on a line by usual right winger Colby Armstrong and a new linemate - Jordan Staal, the 2006 second-overall pick, who will skate on Crosby's left side.
The contest also marks the Penguins debut for Evgeni Malkin, the 2004 second-overall pick. He will skate on a line with Ryan Malone and Mark Recchi.
Jocelyn Thibault gets the start in goal for the Penguins, who will fly back to Pittsburgh following the contest.
