Penguins To Hold Holiday Toy Drive At December 1 Game vs. Flyers

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation will hold its annual holiday toy drive Saturday, December 1, when the Penguins host the Philadelphia Flyers at PPG Paints Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.

Penguins' wives and girlfriends will be on hand collecting donations at the large school bus located outside the Highmark Gate (next to Centre Avenue) starting at 5:30 pm. 

Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a cash donation that night will be entered to win exciting Penguins prizes.

Fans may also contribute to the Penguins Foundation Toy Drive in two other ways:

  • Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry during normal business hours through Friday, November 30;
  • Make an online donation to the 96.1 KISS "Stuff A Bus" at Online donations may be made through Monday, December 3. The Penguins Foundation will match all online donations up to $10,000.

The Penguins' toy drive is held in conjunction with 96.1 KISS and the U.S. Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" initiative.

Over the past 13 years, Penguins drives have garnered more than 20,500 new toys and over $128,000 in donations to support children in the greater Pittsburgh community.
