Pittsburgh Penguins players Sidney Crosby, Jordan Staal, Marc-Andre Fleury, Ryan Whitney and Colby Armstrong will attend a “Town Hall Meeting” exclusively for Penguins season ticket holders Thursday at 8 p.m. at Mellon Arena.
The players will take part in a question-and-answer session with broadcaster Paul Steigerwald, along with Penguins CEO Ken Sawyer and team president David Morehouse.
Sawyer and Morehouse will provide an update on the new arena project and will outline plans to conduct focus groups of season ticket holders regarding the new arena.
Penguins GM Ray Shero also will speak to the season ticket holders about the upcoming season.
“The support of our season ticket holders has been phenomenal, and this Town Hall meeting is another way for our players and staff to reach out to them directly,” Morehouse said. “We have a tremendous group of young players who are very interested in this kind of community involvement. And we’ll also have an opportunity to engage the season ticket holders in the new arena process and let them know about the focus groups, where we can get their input.”
This is a ticketed event for season ticket holders.
