The Pittsburgh Penguins signed forward Noel Acciari to a three-year contract, it was announced today by President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas.

The contract will run through the 2025-26 campaign and his contract carries an average annual value of $2 million.

The 31-year-old Acciari spent the 2022-23 campaign split between St. Louis and Toronto where he notched 14 goals, nine assists, 23 points and two game-winning goals in 77 games. At the time of his trade to Toronto, his 10 goals were tied for sixth on the Blues, and he led the team with 158 hits and a 54.4% faceoff winning percentage. While with Toronto, his four goals in that span were tied for eighth on the Maple Leafs and his 1:47 average of shorthanded time-on-ice per game was second among Toronto forwards.

The 5-foot-10, 209-pound Acciari has spent parts of eight seasons in the NHL split between the Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers, St. Louis and Toronto where he's notched 100 points (59G-41A) in 384 career games. He's reached the 10-goal plateau three times, which includes the 2019-20 campaign where he established career highs in goals (20) and points (27).

Acciari, a native of Johnston, Rhode Island, has 65 games of Stanley Cup Playoff experience with Boston, Florida and Toronto where he's registered six goals, three assists, and nine points. Acciari posted a career-best four playoff points (2G-2A) in 19 games with Boston during the 2019 postseason, and reached the Stanley Cup Final.

Prior to his time in the NHL, the undrafted forward enjoyed a four-year collegiate career with Providence College. During his time in Providence, Acciari appeared in 113 career games, scoring 32 goals, 33 assists and 65 points. He captained the Friars to their first NCAA Championship in program history in 2014-15.
