Penguins Reward Breakout Tournament Finalists

by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
The NHL season may be over, but hockey is still very much alive in the Pittsburgh area. Approximately 40 local and out-of-state teams raced to BladeRunners Ice Complex June 18-20 in Harmarville, PA to compete in the 2010 Penguins Breakout Inline Hockey Tournament. The tournament was sanctioned by USA Roller Sports, the National Governing Body of Inline Hockey, and partnered with the AAU and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.

Iceburgh, the Pittsburgh Penguins team mascot, appeared the final day of the tournament. The mascot presented awards to the top-two teams in each age classification. Courtesy of AAU, gold and silver medals were awarded to all of the members of the top-two teams. Team trophies were also presented.
