The Penguins hope to notch win No. 1 of the season when they return to Pittsburgh on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. to meet the Tampa Bay Lightning at Mellon Arena.

The game will be televised on UPN 19 and carried on the radio on 3WS. The radio broadcast begins at 7 p.m.

Pittsburgh is coming off an emotional 6-5 overtime loss in Philadelphia on Friday night. The Flyers built a 5-1 lead, but the Penguins rallied for four-straight goals to send the game into overtime. However, Philadelphia scored a power-play goal in the extra period to take the win.

It was the fourth-straight overtime contest for the Penguins (0-1-4). Despite the loss, they earned another point in the standings.

Pittsburgh rookie Sidney Crosby recorded two more points Friday night. He tallied his second-career NHL goal off a deflection and added an assist to boost his team-leading point total to eight. He has recorded a point in all five of his NHL games and looks to continue that streak Saturday against Tampa Bay.

Saturday’s contest will be the first game for Pittsburgh forward Andre Roy against his former Tampa Bay mates. Roy won a championship ring with the Lightning during its run to the Stanley Cup last season. He signed with the Penguins as a free agent on Aug. 4.

Tampa Bay is 2-2-1 on the year. The Lightning features a different look in goal as Nikolai Khabibulin left as a free agent for Chicago in August. However, John Grahame has replaced Khabibulin between the pipes and has a 2.25 goals-against average.
