UPDATES FROM COACH
Coach Bylsma had a couple of updates after practice...
- Neal is concussion symptom free
- Malkin is upper-body, he skated with the team today but is day-to-day at this point
- Crosby didn't go through strenuous exercise, just getting on the ice
- Martin continues to skate
Bylsma had to timeframe for when any of the four would return to the lineup.

Malkin (upper body, day-to-day) stayed on the ice for extra work after practice today and spoke to the media when he got into the locker room. Malkin said he "feels good" and hopes to play Wednesday versus Montreal, saying the few days off between games is helpful in terms of getting back to 100 percent.
"We have a couple days off," he said. "I have a little bit of an injury, but we still have time before the next game. I skated a little bit extra today and I will skate (Tuesday) with the team, maybe on a line, and I hope to play."
Malkin participated in morning skate before the Penguins' last game on Saturday in Florida, and realized during that practice he would not be able to play that evening.
"I tried to shoot and I can’t shoot hard," he said of how he felt that day. "I know I can’t play because if you can’t shoot hard, it’s tough to play.
"I tried to play, but it’s not where I want it. Just taking a couple days off."
Head coach Dan Bylsma said the schedule gave the team a chance to give Malkin some time off to heal.
"The opportunity to take time off in the schedule in the last week was important," Bylsma said. "Could he play? Could he go out and score the same goal he scored in Tampa Bay? Well, he did. Rest and getting healthier, getting practice time is good for Evgeni at this point in time. I'm not entirely sure if his shot will be at 95 percent or what when he gets back. We certainly want to get him healthy and playing at a level. If rest does that right now and with the opportunity in the schedule, we've taken it."

All players except for Crosby, Neal and Martin are on the ice for practice. Evgeni Malkin is with them after missing Saturday's game vs. Florida with an upper-body injury.
