The Consol Energy Center, the Penguins new home slated to open in time for the 2010-11 season, is coming along nicely. On Saturday, several of the fathers accompanying the Penguins on the upcoming "Dad's Trip" took a tour of the new arena. Here are photos from some of the sights they saw:

Consol Energy Center will feature wide concourses with open views of the ice.

Consol Energy Center is really starting to take shape.
Workers are working seven days a week to make sure Consol Energy Center is ready to open on July 12.
Fans are going to enjoy the easy access escalators will provide.
Soon the Consol Energy Center will be ready to add seats to the main bowl.
