Dominik-Simon

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Dominik Simon from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Simon, 23, has 11 points (4G-7A) in 28 NHL games this season with Pittsburgh. Four times this season he has notched multiple points. Simon has also produced 17 points (4G-13A) in 21 AHL contests this year with WBS.
Pittsburgh originally drafted Simon in the fifth round (137th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft. Simon has 13 points (4G-9A) in 33 career NHL contests over parts of three seasons with the Pens.
Tomorrow the Penguins return home to host the New York Islanders in a 5:00 PM contest at PPG Paints Arena. AT&T SportsNet will be hosting its 7th annual Penguins Charity Night to support the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Mario Lemieux Foundation.
