The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Josh Jooris from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Jooris, 27, has skated in four games with the Penguins this season since his acquisition from Carolina. Overall this year, Jooris has skated in 35 NHL games with the Pens and Hurricanes, producing six points (3G-3A).
Since joining the Pittsburgh organization, Jooris has also played in six AHL games with WBS, scoring one goal. In 11 overall AHL contests this season with WBS and the Charlotte Checkers, Jooris has four points (1G-3A) in 11 games.
The Penguins visit the New Jersey Devils tonight at 7:00 PM at the Prudential Center in Newark. Fans can watch the game on AT&T SportsNet, or listen at 105.9 The X.
