Penguins Recall Forward Jayson Megna

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Jayson Megna from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Megna, 24, has skated in nine AHL games with WBS this season, scoring two goals and adding an assist for three points.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Megna played in 36 NHL regular-season games with Pittsburgh last season, tallying five goals, four assists and nine points. He also suited up for two postseason contests.

Megna has played in 90 career AHL games, producing 16 goals and 30 points. He has eight points (3G-5A) in 25 AHL playoff appearances.
