Penguins Recall Forward Eric Tangradi

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Eric Tangradi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

Tangradi has appeared in 13 games for Pittsburgh this season, posting two points (1G-1A). Tangradi, a second-round pick (42nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by Anaheim, recorded his first-career NHL point at New Jersey Oct. 11, and first NHL goal against the NY Islanders Oct. 15.

Tangradi (6-foot-4, 221 pounds) is second on WBS with 18 goals (tied) while ranking fourth in points (33) through 42 games. He recorded 39 points (17G-22A) in 65 games for WBS in 2009-10.
