Penguins Recall Derrick Pouliot and Re-Assign Andrew Ebbett to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Derrick Pouliot from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Forward Andrew Ebbett has been re-assigned to WBS.

Pouliot, 20, has played in 26 NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, scoring two goals, three assists and five points while averaging 17:15 minutes.

Pouliot has 24 points (7G-17A) and is plus-2 in 31 AHL games with WBS. His 0.77 point-per-game average leads all WBS Penguins defensemen.
