The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Scott Harrington from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Harrington, 21, spent time with Pittsburgh earlier this season, but did not appear in any games. He has skated in seven AHL contests with WBS, collecting two assists.
Last season the Kingston, Ontario native played his first professional season with WBS, producing 24 points (5G-19A) and a plus-9 in 76 games. Harrington was a two-time Ontario Hockey League (OHL) champion with the London Knights.
