The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Conor Sheary from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Sheary has played in 27 NHL games for the Penguins this season, tallying five points (3G-2A). He has not appeared in any games with WBS since he was re-assigned there on Feb. 29, as he was recovering from an injury suffered on Feb. 27 against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Penguins play the New Jersey Devils today at 5 p.m. at the Prudential Center. The game will be televised on ROOT SPORTS and it can be heard on the team's official flagship station, 105.9 The X.
