The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forwards Chris Conner and Nick Johnson to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Conner has posted three points (2G-1A) in eight games for Pittsburgh this season. He recorded his first career two-goal game, including the game-winning tally, in the Penguins’ 4-2 win over the New York Rangers Jan. 25.
Johnson has seen action in four games with the Penguins, notching one goal and two points. He made his NHL debut, and scored his first career goal, against Washington Jan. 21.
