Penguins Re-Assign Carl Sneep and Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defensemen Carl Sneep and Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Sneep, 24, made his NHL debut for Pittsburgh last night, collecting his first NHL point (assist) and posting a plus-1 rating in 16:19 minutes against the Buffalo Sabres.
Strait, 23, has been sidelined the last 25 games after suffering a hyper-extended elbow in a game against the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 18. Strait has appeared in one game this season with Pittsburgh.
