Penguins Rank No. 1 in Local TV Ratings Among U.S.-based NHL Teams in 2010

The Pittsburgh Penguins ranked No. 1 in local television ratings among U.S.-based NHL teams in the calendar year 2010, according to Nielsen’s “State of the Media: Year in Sports 2010,” published in the Sports Business Journal.
The Penguins had an 8.0 rating on FSN Pittsburgh to lead the way in 2010. Rounding out the top five were the Buffalo Sabres at 6.3, the Detroit Red Wings at 3.9, the Chicago Blackhawks at 2.6 and the Boston Bruins at 2.3.
