Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cullen will play at least one more season, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday.
Penguins general manager Jim Rutherford told the newspaper he wants to sign Cullen, 39, for next season. Cullen is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent Friday.
Cullen had 16 goals and 16 assists in 82 games this season, and helped the Penguins win the Stanley Cup with four goals and two assists in 24 postseason games.
