Penguins Finish Pre-Season Schedule in Detroit

The Penguins play their final pre-season game against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena at 5 p.m.

Captain Sidney Crosby, who left the team's previous pre-season game with a tight groin, skated this morning but will not play in the contest. Evgeni Malkin, Ruslan Fedotenko, Sergei Gonchar and Mark Eaton will also sit out the game.

The game will be broadcast on the Penguins' flagship station 105.9 The X (WXDX-FM). Mike Lange will handle the play-by-play with Phil Bourque providing color. The game will be broadcast on TV on the NHL Network, which is picking up the Fox Sports Detroit feed. Following the game, NHL Network will re-air last season's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
