Penguins Fans Attending Games 3 & 4Invited to Tailgate On the Terrace

The Pittsburgh Penguins are inviting fans attending Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Mellon Arena on Wednesday and Friday night to visit the “Tailgate on the Terrace” – an open-air concession area located above Gate 3.

Admission to the tailgate is free, however, patrons must have tickets to that evening’s game to enter.  Aramark will sell a variety of food and beverages.
Fans can have their tickets scanned and enter the terrace beginning at 5:00 pm.  The entrance will be located near the Will Call windows at Gate 1.  The tailgate is scheduled to conclude when the game begins at 7:00 pm.
Fans may enter Mellon Arena from the terrace beginning at 6:00 pm when gates open to the general public.
In the event of inclement weather, the tailgate area will be closed.

Onorato, Ravenstahl & Penguins Announce Rally at Mellon Arena on Wed.

PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato, Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and the Pittsburgh Penguins today announced a rally at Mellon Arena’s outdoor screen at Gate 3 beginning at 5:15 p.m. on Wed., May 6.
The Penguins mascot, Iceburgh, and face painters will be on hand. Outdoor concessions will be open for food and drink purchases. Grills, tents and alcohol are prohibited.
The Mayor and County Executive have declared Wednesday “Black & Gold Day,” and they are encouraging fans to show their pride by donning the team’s colors tomorrow.
The game will be shown on the outdoor screen beginning at 7:00 p.m., courtesy of Consol Energy and Trib Total Media.
