The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today that they are donating $25,000 to support hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
The Penguins Foundation will make the donation through the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities, who organized a relief drive for Puerto Rico earlier this week.
"The Penguins support this very important effort by the Pirates to assist the people of Puerto Rico," said David Morehouse, president and CEO of the Penguins. "We ask our fans, and sports fans everywhere, to join in this major humanitarian cause."
