Penguins Cup Playoffs Underway

In Class AAA, top-seeded Pine-Richland posted a 5-2 win over Canon-McMillan.
George Saad scored two goals and added an assist, while Ty Loney had a pair of goals. Dylan Trombetta had a goal and an assist. Tyler Deal, Jordan Shelleby and Eric Febert all had assists.
Nate Bohn had a goal and an assists for the Big Macs. Kurt Ott tallied the other goal, while Nick Cusolito and Matt Riveitti had assist.
James Joyce had a goal and two assists to lead the Panthers past the Vikings.
Nick Gedeon had a goal and an assist for Upper St. Clair, while Rocky Cersosimo, Bryan Esherick and Theo Schnieders all scored goals. Mike McKelvey and Tim Graulty had assists.
Patrick Burke had the lone Central Catholic goal. Jon Coulter and C.J. Burke added assists.
Bethel Park 6,
Matt Quigley scored three goals an added an assist to lead the Black Hawks to the victory.
Nick Machi had three assists for
Shane Reese had both McDowell goals. Steve Martin, Sean Perhacs and Eric Frits added assists for the Trojans.
Morgan Nickerson had two goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs. Drew Finton had three assists. Bill Espy scored a goal and added an assist, while Nick Fedorka had two goals and an assist. Brandon Magee had two assists, while Zach Bogardus had a goal and Aaron Nye added an assist.
Matt Vunovic scored for Norwin. Adam Ference and Justin Oroukin had assists.
CLASS AA
Justin Locante had a pair of goals to lead the Eagles past the Tigers.
Chris Breisinger had a goal for
Matt Reece scored both Moon goals. Nigel Crighton, Adam Freed and Cedric Brazeau had assists.
Indiana 3, Kittanning 1
Steven Geisel had two goals and an assist as the Little Indians earned the win over the Wildcats.
Lance Lewandowski had a goal and an assist for
Josh Miller scored the lone Kittanning goal, while Cory Beers had an assist.
Dave Mattock had three goals and an assist to lead the Centurions past the Jaguars.
Frank Jupena also had a hat trick for GCC. Nick Vukmaravich had a goal and two assists, while Robert Tritschler had three assists. Nick Persichetti, Jess Tetkoski and Dan Brennan all had helpers.
Dan Nath scored a goal and added an assist for Thomas Jefferson. Robbie Landussi had a goal, while Anthony Parkinson and Dan Joseph had assist.
Eric Zalewsky scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Indians past the Spartans.
Greg Jackson also had two goals for
Steve Schott scored two goals and added an assist for Montour. Josh York had a pair of assists, while Mike Zagani had a goal and an assist. Mike Harrington scored a goal, while Alex Wayne added an assist.

Mike Long scored a pair of goals for the Talbots. Austin Bahorich had a goal, while Jason Moffitt and Joe Paul added assists for

Will Page had the game-winning goal as the Hilltoppers scored twice in the third for the victory.
Eric Miller had a goal, while Alex Ruhal and Brendon Boyle added assists for Westmont-Hilltop.
Evan Gorse had the lone Knoch goal. Neal Donnelly added an assist.
Shane Gallagher had two goals and assisted on four others to lead the Yellowjackets to the win.
Neil DeCroo had three goals, while Jeremy Hepler had three assists for

Alladin Faily scored five goals and had two assists to lead
Craig Eddy also had a seven-point night for the Golden Eagles with three goals and four assists. Hunter Specht had a goal and two assists, while Patrick Peters had two goals and Josh Beistel added two assists. T.J. Bence had a goal and an assist, while Gunnar Smith, Cody Pile and Patrick Peters all had assists.
Caroline Barth and Damon McClintock split time in goal to pick up the shutout victory.
