Ottawa handed the Penguins a 6-3 loss in Game 1 on Wednesday. It was the Stanley Cup playoff debut for 13 Penguins.
Sidney Crosby and Jordan Staal scored their first-career Stanley Cup playoff goals in the loss. Sergei Gonchar added the other Penguins tally – his 15th in 59 career playoff games.
The two teams meet again in Pittsburgh at 6 p.m. Game 4 is slated for Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
