Jason Zucker Underwent Successful Core Muscle Injury Repair

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jason Zucker underwent a successful core muscle injury repair today, it was announced by general manager Ron Hextall.

The surgery was performed by Dr. William Meyers of the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, Pa.

Zucker will be sidelined on a week-to-week basis. The team will have a more accurate timeframe for his recovery in the coming days.
