The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated forward Evan Rodrigues and defenseman Brian Dumoulin from injured reserve, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Forward Anthony Angello has been recalled from the taxi squad, and defenseman Josh Maniscalco has been re-assigned to the taxi squad from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL).
Dumoulin, 29, has missed the last 15 games due to a lower body injury. In seven games for Pittsburgh this season, he has recorded one assist. In 354 career NHL games, Dumoulin has picked up 11 goals, 72 assists, 83 points and is plus-54.
Rodrigues, 27, has missed Pittsburgh's last 16 games. He's recorded one goal in six games this season, and in 205 career NHL games, Rodrigues has accumulated 73 points (28G-45A).
Angello, who is celebrating his 25th birthday today, has appeared in four games for Pittsburgh this season. In 12 career NHL games, he's picked up one goal. An Albany, New York native, Angello has skated in two games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, where he has notched one goal, one assist and two points. In 117 career games in the AHL, all with WBS, Angello has 56 points (33G-23A).
The 22-year old Maniscalco is playing his first professional season after signing with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent on August 21, 2020. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defenseman has suited up for two games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this year. Prior to turning pro, he appeared in 71 collegiate games with the Arizona State Sun Devils over the course of two seasons, where he tallied 52 points (15G-37A).
