The Penguins boarded a plane for an early morning flight to Ottawa. Once arriving in the Canadian capital, the team headed to Bell Sensplex located near Scotiabank Place for a late afternoon practice.
Forward Tanner Glass was the only player absent from the skate. Dustin Jeffrey filled in his vacant spot alongside Brandon Sutter and Matt Cooke.
The Bell Sensplex was packed with standing room only people who watched the Penguins practice. Very similar to a Southpointe practice.
"It's unique to go on the road and have a crowd like that watching practice," defenseman Kris Letang said. "It's fun. Gave guys jump even on a long travel day."
