Norfolk evened its AHL East Division series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with a 4-1 home win Wednesday night.

Craig MacDonald gave the Admirals a 1-0 lead through the first period. Reed Low and Carl Corazzini both scored in the second for a 3-0 Norfolk edge.

Jean-Francois Jacques tipped a Micki DuPont shot into the net to cut the Penguins’ deficit to 3-1 just 7:35 into the third period.

However, the hosts scored again as Johan Nordqvist found the back of the net for a 4-1 Norfolk advantage.

The series remains in Norfolk for Game 5 on Friday night. It moves back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for Game 6 Sunday afternoon.
