In celebration of the 2012 NHL Draft, the Pittsburgh Penguins are announcing two temporary rinks available to the public. The Penguins will be kicking off the NHL Draft festivities with a Dek Hockey rink on the Clemente Bridge, followed by a synthetic rink in the AE Plaza of Consol Energy Center.
Clemente Bridge Rink:
On Wednesday June 20th, the Pittsburgh Penguins are constructing a Dek Hockey rink on the Clemente Bridge! Featuring Pittsburgh ICE Players and a few of the projected top picks of this seasons NHL Draft, this rink offers Pittsburgh ICE players a once in a lifetime experience. Stop by at the times listed below to cheer on Pittsburgh ICE and meet the NHL stars of tomorrow:
•2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Pittsburgh ICE Open Play
•3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Pittsburgh ICE & NHL Draft top picks open play

AE Plaza Synthetic Ice Rink:
June 22nd & 23rd a 40’ x 60’ sheet of synthetic ice will be located outside the AE Gate of the CONSOL Energy Center. Equipped with dasher boards and protective netting, this rink will provide a great opportunity to experience what synthetic ice has to offer! Admission & Skate rental is free.
