NHL Changes Scoring on Penguins Opening Goal in Game 5

by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
The NHL has changed the scoring on the Pittsburgh Penguins' first goal Thursday night to read Kris Letang from Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby at 18:05 of the first period.

It originally had been credited to Letang from Bill Guerin and Malkin.

The assist gives Crosby 14 points in five playoff games - the most he has ever scored in a playoff series. Last season he had 13 points in a seven-game series against Washington.
