by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins

The three NHL trophies won by Penguins center Evgeni Malkin last season will be on display for fans during the Pens’ home opener Wednesday night at CONSOL Energy Center.

The Hart Memorial Trophy (MVP), Art Ross Trophy (scoring champion) and Ted Lindsay Award (most outstanding player) will be set up in the concourse behind section 110, at the end of the Highmark Hall of Champions.

The display – courtesy of the Hockey Hall of Fame -- will open at 5 p.m. (when doors open) and be available through the end of the second intermission.

The three trophies also will be on display on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the new Dick’s Sporting Goods in Cranberry. Fans are invited to check out the trophies and take photos.
