The Penguins prospect is second overall in postseason scoring with 24 points (10+14) through 12 games. He has 34 penalty minutes as well.

Val-d’Or teammate Brad Marchand is atop the scoring list with 29 points (12+17) in 13 games.

However, Letang leads all defensemen in points by a wide margin. Cape Breton’s Jean-Claude Sawyer is second with 18 points (3+15) in 13 games.

Letang’s top-seeded Foreurs trail Cape Breton, 3-1, in their QMJHL semifinal series. Game 5 is Friday night in Cape Breton.

Letang had two goals in seven games with the Penguins this year before the 19-year-old was returned to Val-d’Or.
