How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan?
I became a Pens fan in 2006-07 season after my teenage daughter started watching games.

Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)?
Sidney Crosby

Tell us about your favorite Penguins memory.
My daughter and I came to watch Game 2, of the semi-finals of the 2009 playoffs versus Carolina. We brought our chairs and snacks to sit outside and watch the game on Mario''s big TV at the Mellon. We had settled in our lounger chairs when we were approached by Evgeni Malkin's translator, George. He handed us 2 tickets to go inside and watch the game! We were so thrilled that we were in tears! The atmosphere inside was even more exciting than outside. It was a whiteout and the old Mellon was buzzing! This was the game where Geno had a hat trick and played like a man on fire.It was the best game I have ever seen! Needless to say the Pens went on to win the cup which my daughter and I have seen close up twice. Once in Pittsbutgh and once at the Hockey HOF. It is an awesome trophy and I would love to have a day with it!

On a game day I usually...
Wear black to work and wear a lucky shirt to watch the game. I have several other superstitions that I will not say out loud!

Congratulations, Vanessa!
