How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan?
I became a true fan about 5 years ago when I won tickets from a radio station to see a Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins game. There's NOTHING like seeing a hockey game live. Turned me into a die-hard follower!
Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)?
Tell us about your favorite Penguins memory.
My favorite memory was this past November, when we welcomed Sidney Crosby back, and he showed us just how amazing he is when he made his first goal of the game against the Islanders. There was just something so special and inspiring about it. It was the same pride I felt when they won the Cup in 2009. The emotion I felt was overwhelming, and honestly, a little shocking. I had no idea I would have felt just so good and so happy for him, the Penguins, and the fans. I was glad he was back, I was thrilled he was better, and I was amazed with his skill after being out for such a long time. What a way to get back into the game!!
On a game day I usually...
First thing I usually do is call around to see who wants to watch with me. Then, the jersey comes on. Occasionally, I might get some cocktails, and I make sure all of my stuff is done for the day so I can watch the game with my family without interruption!
