The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned goaltender Tristan Jarry to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Jarry had been with the Penguins on an emergency basis due to Matt Murray's injury.
Jarry will join WBS in advance of its three-game road trip that begins Tuesday night in Toronto, and continues this weekend with visits on Friday and Saturday to Utica and Binghamton, respectively. At the AHL level, Jarry owns a six-game winning streak. He is 6-2 overall with a 2.60 goals-against average and a. 914 save percentage this year with WBS.
The Penguins return to game action this Tuesday, March 20 at 7:00 PM when they visit the New York Islanders at the Barclays Center. One night later, on March 21, the Pens return home to host the Montreal Canadiens at 7:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena. Both games will be televised on AT&T SportsNet, or you can listen on the team's radio flagship, 105.9 The X.
