The start of the Penguins' January 14 game against the New York Rangers at PPG Paints Arena has been changed to 7:30 p.m. to avoid a conflict with the Steelers' playoff game. The game will be nationally broadcast on NBC Sports Network.
The Penguins-Rangers game was originally scheduled for 12:30 p.m. The Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks moved their game to accommodate the time change. The Red Wings and Blackhawks will now play at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Steelers will host a playoff game on January 14 at 1:05 p.m.
The Penguins would like to thank the NHL, NBC, the Red Wings and Blackhawks for accommodating this request to change the starting time.
