by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
The Pittsburgh Penguins’ popular mascot, Iceburgh, will make an appearance in conjunction with the showing of the new Jim Carrey movie, “Mr. Popper’s Penguins,” Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Rave Motion Pictures Pittsburgh North movie theatre on McKnight Road (formerly Showcase Cinemas North).

Iceburgh will appear from 3-4 p.m. to pose for photos and entertain movie-goers in advance of the 4 p.m. showing of “Mr. Popper’s Penguins.”

Carrey wears a Sidney Crosby jersey in several scenes. To check out a still photo of Carry wearing No. 87, as well as a link to the trailer and a brief video, please visit www.pittsburghpenguins.com.

According to the movie’s website, www.popperspenguins.com, “Mr. Popper is a driven businessman who is clueless when it comes to the important things in life. Mr. Popper finally understands what he’s missing thanks to a new inheritance: Six penguins who turn his swanky New York apartment into a snowy winter wonderland and the rest of his life upside down.”
