HERSHEY TAKES 3-0 SERIES LEAD OVER WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

Hershey posted a 2-0 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday.

The Bears, last year’s Calder Cup champs, pushed their AHL East Division Finals series advantage over the Penguins to 3-0. Game 4 is Wednesday night in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Matt Hendricks scored 8:38 into the first period for a 1-0 Hershey advantage.

Quintin Laing added an insurance goal with 6:44 left in the second period as the Bears posted the shutout win. Frederic Cassivi stopped all 19 shots he faced to earn the win.
