Harrington Re-Assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Scott Harrington to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Harrington, 21, has played in 10 NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, averaging 15:48 minutes. He made his NHL debut on Dec. 18 against Colorado.

The 6-foot-2, 201-pound Harrington has seven assists and is plus-6 in 25 AHL contests with WBS.
