Costume Contest to Highlight 'Halloween Theme Night' on Oct. 26 vs. WPG

A Halloween costume contest and other fun Halloween-themed activities will highlight the Penguins' first theme night of the season - "Halloween Theme Night" on Thursday, October 26, when the Pens take on Winnipeg at PPG Paints Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Kids' Costume, Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume, Most Creative Costume and Best Couples' Costume.

Kids also will be able to "Trick or Treat" at the Highmark Kids' Zone. There will be Halloween-themed face painting, photo ops, music and video programming - and Iceburgh and the Ice Crew will be in costume throughout the game.

Other Theme Nights this season include "Stars Wars Night" on December 7 against the New York Islanders; "Ugly Sweater Night" on December 21 against Columbus; "70s Theme Night" on January 4 against Carolina; "80s Theme Night" on January 25 against Minnesota; and "90s Theme Night" on February 15 against Los Angeles.

Fans are reminded that Halloween Theme Night costumes must be family-friendly, and masks must be removed when entering the building. No sharp objects or weapons (including fake or toy weapons) will be allowed.
