The Penguins return home for a six-game homestand as they take on the Winnipeg Jets at PPG Paints Arena. Doors to the arena for fans will open at 11:30 AM. The Penguins are 14-3-0 in their last 17 meetings with the Jets. Here at PPG Paints Arena, the Penguins are 9-1-0 against the Winnipeg Jets since the building opened. Pittsburgh is 8-4-1 against Canadian-based clubs this season, including a 1-0-0 record against the Jets. The Penguins are 11-4-4 against Western Conference opponents this year.

900 GAMES FOR LETANG

Tonight, defenseman Kris Letang is set to join Sidney Crosby (1,067), Evgeni Malkin (946) and Mario Lemeiux (915) as the only four players in franchise history to play 900 games with the team. He's also looking to become the 54th active player, and 16th active defenseman, to appear in 900 NHL games. Despite ranking 16th among active blueliners in games played, his 617 points (137G-480A) are sixth most.
He enters tonight's game riding a career-long 10-game point streak (2G-13A), which is the longest active streak in the league, and longest total point streak by a defenseman this season. Per NHL PR, Letang is one of just three defensemen in team history to record a point streak of 10 or more games.

The last time Winnipeg visited Pittsburgh they took down the Penguins 4-1 on Oct. 8, 2019 - snapping a franchise-record 18-game win streak against the Winnipeg/Atlanta franchise.
