5 THINGS

1. The Pens look to rebound in the 2nd half of back-to-back contests after falling Saturday night, 5-2, in Toronto.

2. Center Evgeni Malkin picked up an assist against the Maple Leafs. He now has 38 goals and 85 points on the season. His 85 points place 2nd in the NHL (Nikita Kucherov, 88) while his 38 goals are 3rd (Alex Ovechkin and Patrik Laine, 40).

3. The Pens and Stars met in a highly entertaining contest on Feb. 9 in Dallas. Pittsburgh tied the game late on a Justin Schultz goal, but fell in a shootout, 4-3, to the Stars.

4. Dallas begins a season-long 6-game East Coast road trip tonight in Pittsburgh. The Stars hope to solidify their playoff standings. They are currently sitting in the top Wild Card spot.

5. Tyler Seguin has 13 points (7G-6A) in his last 8 games. His 36 goals rank 5th and mark his 4th 30-goal campaign.
