WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
The Pens swept the opening 2 games of the series at home with a 5-3 win in Game 1 and 4-1 victory in Game 2 … Teams that have taken a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final have won the title 90-percent of the time (45 of 50). That includes last year's Pens team that went up 2-0 on San Jose … Predators defenseman P.K. Subban gave a "guarantee" that his team will win Game 3. "We don't lose in our building. So we're going back home, we're going to win the next game, and then we'll see what happens from there," Subban told NHL.com following the Game 2 loss … One question for the Predators is which goaltender will start in Game 3. Pekka Rinne allowed 4 goals on 25 shots and was pulled in the 3rd period of Game 2 for Juuse Saros. Rinne has allowed 8 goals on 37 shots in the first 2 games. Head coach Peter Laviolette hasn't confirmed his starter. When asked he replied, "Next question." ... Center Nick Bonino, who suffered a lower-body injury in Game 2 after blocking a shot, will be a game-time decision ... Jake Guentzel has 3 goals in the opening 2 games of the Final, including the game-winner in Game 2. Guentzel leads the NHL with 12 goals, the second most ever by a rookie (Dino Ciccarelli, 14). His 5 game-winning goals is an NHL rookie record … Goalie Matt Murray won his 20th career playoff game by stopping 37 of 38 shots for Pittsburgh in Game 2. He is just the 4th goaltender in NHL history to win 20 of his first 27 playoff games … Chris Kuntiz has a 3-game scoring streak (2G-5A) … Pittsburgh injuries: Tom Kuhnhackl (lower-body), Kris Letang (herniated disc), Chad Ruhwedel (concussion) … Nashville injuries: Kevin Fiala (femur), Ryan Johansen (AC syndrome).
