The Pens snapped their 3-game losing streak with a wild 8-7 overtime victory against Washington on Monday … Evgeni Malkin scored his 11th career hat trick against Washington … Conor Sheary posted 2 goals, including the overtime winner, and an assist for a career-high 3 points vs. the Caps … Defenseman Justin Schultz posted a career-high 4 assists vs. Washington and now has 25 points (7G-18A) in his last 21 games … Trevor Daley set a career high with 3 assists against Washington, all recorded in the second period … Pittsburgh returns to Montreal for the first time since suffering a 4-0 loss on Oct. 18. The Pens defeated the Habs, 4-3 in overtime, on New Year's Eve in Pittsburgh … Kris Letang is week-to-week with an injury … Montreal is 6-2-2 in its last 10 games … Shea Weber and Carey Price were each named to their fifth All-Star Game … Head coach Michel Therrien coached in his 800th career game on Jan. 14 vs. the New York Rangers, a 5-4 win. *Kris Letang and Matt Cullen also missed the skate due to injury. Brian Dumoulin skated with a face shield and yellow "no contact" jersey

*Matt Murray was the 1st goalie off of the ice and will start in goal
