WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

Goaltender Matt Murray will make his season debut tonight against the Ducks … Defenseman Kris Letang returns to the lineup after missing the previous 5 games with an upper-body injury … Center Matt Cullen turns 40 years old today. He was born on Nov. 2, 1976 and made his NHL debut on Oct. 28, 1997. He has played in over 1,300 career NHL games … Sidney Crosby has scored in each of his first 3 games this season (4 total). He's hoping to continue that scoring trend … The Ducks face the Pens on the second half of back-to-back games … Anaheim topped their rival Los Angeles Kings, 4-0, on Tuesday night at Staples Center. Pittsburgh-native John Gibson stopped all 30 shots he faced for the shutout.

MORNING SKATE REPORT:

The Pens had a full compliment of players at the morning skate, including Letang (upper-body) and Conor Sheary (eye).

Crosby was on the ice prior to the skate, but left due to an equipment issues and missed the line rush portion. He was replaced by Sheary. Crosby later returned and finished the skate.
