COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: Tough to explain. And there's no doubt we needed to get that goal. We didn't execute well. We got a good chance to tie up the game right there, and we didn't do the job.Q. You see the situation now 3-1 going to their building, how difficult is the task?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: That's a cliche, but we'll take one game at a time. We'll see.Q. Can you talk a little bit about your decision to play Gary Roberts on the power play, the top line, especially in the first period, he got a lot of time?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: We got two guys that we put in front of the net. We've got Ryan Malone, and we've got Gary Roberts. So depends if the penalty is if Ryan Malone is on the ice, and he's over about 45 seconds, he's out of breath, he's going on the bench. That's normal. So Gary goes to replace him.Q. On the five-on-three, how much was it execution and how much was it Henrik Zetterberg making some really terrific reads?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: He did a great job. But on a five-on-three, we needed better execution.Q. On the second Detroit goal, did you see a particular breakdown, or was it just a matter of circumstances there?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: Well, we had a few, once or twice we could have brought the puck out. This is a good team. And they find a way to win. Good teams find a way to win. Their fourth line scored the winning goal. So what are you going to say? Q. In a lot of ways it may have been Marian Hossa's best game in the playoffs, he seemed to be flying all over the place. Can you comment on his play?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: He played really well tonight, but he played really well last game too as well. He's got great playoffs so far for us. Q. [Evgeni] Malkin was so energized in the last game. Can you talk about his effort in this game?
COACH MICHEL THERRIEN: He tried. Nothing is happening for him. I think his intentions are there, but the results are not there. But he tried. He works.
